Web Visions 2006

Oregon Convention Center, Portland Oregon | July 20 21, 2006

Join the giants of design, user experience and business strategy at the Oregon Convention Center from July 20 to 21, 2006 to uncover the trends and agents of change that will shatter your assumptions about the Web.

Improving Front-End Architecture

July 21, 2006 | 9:45am 10:45am

As we progress towards richer interfaces and rely increasingly on JavaScript and CSS to sculpt user experiences, front-end development is becoming more complex. Cobbling together some CSS, markup, scripting, and other technologies without planning just won’t cut it anymore.

The presentation will review both the technical and business benefits of a good front-end architecture as well as the costs of a poor one by reviewing real-world examples and non-examples from well-known sites and applications and illustrate exactly how they could be better.

Featured Stuff - Resources: Wireframes & Page Description Diagrames
