Christopher A. Parr LibraryImproving Front-End Architecture
July 13, 2006 | 7:00pm – 9:00pmAs we progress towards richer interfaces and rely increasingly on JavaScript and CSS to sculpt user experiences, front-end development is becoming more complex. Cobbling together some CSS, markup, scripting, and other technologies without planning just won’t cut it anymore.
The panel will review both the technical and business benefits of a good front-end architecture as well as the costs of a poor one by reviewing real-world examples and non-examples from well-known sites and applications and illustrate exactly how they could be better.
