SXSW Right Around the Corner

When March 9th rolls around, I’ll be making my third trip to Austin in as many months. However, this is the trip I’ve really been looking forward to. I get to catch up with people I haven’t seen in a while and finally meet plenty more in person.

Most exciting for me, however, is the late nights of drinking and partying within stumbling distance of 6th street panel I’ll be presenting with Eris Stassi, Shaun Inman, Jason Santa Maria, and Carl Sieber of fd2s, entitled Holistic Web Design: Finding the Creative Balance in Multi-Disciplined Teams.

We’ll be taking a site with a great concept and giving it the interface it deserves. However, while the results are looking great, our focus will be on the process and and the compromises made in each area in order to achieve a better whole. We’ll show the finished results as well, and thanks to Stan’s visual prowess, and a bit of feedback from the team, they’re looking damn pretty.

So, if you’re looking for a panel to attend that Sunday from 5-6 pm, we’d love to have you.

Are you a new addition to the panel, I don’t remember seeing your name in the panel lists until now. Of course, there is so much good stuff I probably just wasn’t paying attention close enough.
